Park "Ostankino" 

 Park "Ostankino" occupies the space in 110 hectares of the earth and almost the tenth part of all this area it is necessary on memorial estate "Ostankino". The manor Ostankino is a unique monument of Russian architecture of 18 centuries. The architectural ensemble developed not at once to assume a modern air to park it was required several centuries. The first data on Ostankine are dated the middle of 16 centuries. The oldest architectural monument of park Ostankino is Church Zhivonachalnoj of the Trinity which has been constructed in the end of 17 centuries. In this church is devjatijarusnyj reznyj an iconostasis. The Ostankinsky palace constructed by count Nikolay Petrovichem Sheremetev, is dated the end of 18 centuries. This palace is constructed entirely of a tree, the truth, its walls are plastered, therefore walls seem more stone, rather than wooden. In territory of park Ostankino Sheremetev has conceived the unique project of summer residence, as it is known, the count had weakness to theatres, therefore now Ostankino is unique theatre in Russia 18 centuries. At this theatre till now there was a scene, auditorium and grimerki. The hall of this theatre possesses magnificent acoustic properties, after it it is considered one of the best in Moscow. It is possible to reach park from underground VDNH or from station Alekseevsky.
