Park "Sokolnoki" occupies territory in 600 hectare, more than half from them -
green plantings. The park is famous for the rosaries: in 2002 the Big rosary is
restored, and in 2005 has opened Small. Lately the park has extended, updated,
and today is one of favourite vacation spots of Muscovites. In park "Sokolniki"
classical music every summer sounds. On a summer verandah students of musical
schools and philharmonic societies act. To services of visitors small towns of
attractions, a reading room, a billiard hall, a verandah of dances, kartodrom
and numerous cafes, sports avenue where it is possible to take in hire the
roller fads, bicycles and other sports stock. On the third Beam to a glade there
are tennis courts and table tennis. In the winter in park the skating rink and
ski lines with bases of hire of skis and the fads operate.
In park the dramatized holidays are often had. Literary soirees and musical
concert programs are very popular in townsmen.
